On November 8, 2011, the voters of San Francisco passed Proposition C, which brings reform to the City's pension and health benefit systems.  Proposition C was the product of a collaborative effort between Mayor Edwin M. Lee, Supervisor Elsbernd and labor leaders to address the City's increasing costs in pension and health benefits.  For a summary of what Proposition C will do, please see -  City Pension and Health Care Benefits Information (PDF) .
