Enterprise Systems Architect

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is looking for a leader to guide the team in supporting & managing Enterprise Applications, including current and future versions of Oracle’s Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), My Account and other related systems as a comprehensive Customer Service solution. The duties include collecting and analyzing evolving business needs, delivering required functional and technical solutions using Oracle and security industry best practices. Your technical leadership and visionary skills will guide the team in the design, development, quality assurance, and development of contingency plans for Enterprise Systems projects and operations at SFPUC. You will be aware of the latest security vulnerabilities, and will ensure that systems are kept secured. You will also assist with other IT & business groups in maintenance and support of existing implementations, and on delivery of future enhancements such as upgrades and cloud migrations, using technologies such as Java, Groovy, CC&B Scripting, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, and Restful services.

Essential functions of the position include:

  • Architect integrated Enterprise-class systems to support Customer Service operations
