DHR’s Classification and Compensation Division is responsible for classifying the City’s positions and management of MOU and Municipal Code provided compensation. In addition, the Classification and Compensation Division supports the following functions:
- Civil Service System through managing classification actions and appeals.
- Labor Negotiations through performing salary surveys, costing and contract administration.
- Payroll through establishing and maintaining rates of pay and premiums.
