Isolation & Quarantine guidelines have changed significantly since the beginning of the pandemic. Use the following quick reference chart to discuss these issues with COVID positive employees and their close contacts to ensure they return to work as soon as it is safe to do so.

Day 11 if no test and no fever/improving symptoms
Mask for 10 days (indoors and outdoors) following onset of symptoms or, if no symptoms, after testing positive.
Symptomatic Minimum 5 days, up to 10 if not resolved Test when symptoms appear Day 6 with negative antigen test and no fever/improving symptoms Mask for 10 days (indoors and outdoors) following onset of symptoms.
Close Contact Up to Date on Vaccines None if remain symptom free. If symptoms develop, follow rules for Symptomatic Employee. Day 5 - Recommended Continue working unless symptoms develop or positive test. Mask for 10 days (indoors and outdoors) following last close contact.
Close Contact Fully Vaccinated None if remain symptom free. If symptoms develop, follow rules for Symptomatic Employee. Between Days 3-5 - Required Continue working unless symptoms develop or positive test. If not tested, exclude from workplace for remainder of 10-day quarantine. Mask for 14 days (indoors and outdoors) following last close contact.
Close Contact Unvaccinated or Partially Vaccinated 5 days Day 5 - Required Return on Day 6 if negative. If not tested, exclude from workplace for remainder of 10-day quarantine. Mask for 14 days (indoors and outdoors) following last close contact.
