Our mission is to promote diversity in the City and County of San Francisco workforce by recruiting highly qualified candidates and fostering meaningful collaborative partnerships with City departments and community stakeholders. We recruit talent, educate the community and job seekers, identify pathway opportunities, and enhance collaboration between City Departments by providing diversity outreach, recruitment strategies, application and civil service workshops, and connections to citywide career fairs. The Access to City Employment Program (ACE) seeks to hire qualified individuals with a disability into permanent entry-level jobs without going through the competitive civil service merit process.

The Diversity Recruitment Toolkit is a working document developed by DHR's new Diversity Recruitment Team.
